West 13th St., New York, NY
Hi All,
I know it's been almost an entire season since i've posted. There is good reason for that. I am happy to report that I have made it through the most difficult part of nursing school, and I will be starting my last semester in a few days. YAYY! These pics are from last week when C and I met up with my sis in the meatpacking district. We went to Fig and Olive, where they have yummy free appetizers(vegetarian friendly) when you buy a drink during happy hour. Before getting drinks, we stopped in a nearby store which was decorated with tons of vintage singer sewing machines. My mom used to have one just like this when I was growing up. I had to get a few pics. Aren't they fabulous?!
I didn't feel like carrying my camera to the city so C took all these photos with the camera on his phone. The first two pics I didn't even know about (and those are my favorites of the day).
In love with my H&M jumpsuit and clutch. I felt so pretty and comfortable in this outfit. I'm sure you will see it again soon.
We have no water as aftermath of Irene, but I consider us lucky compared to some. Hope you and your loved ones are all safe and sound.

Pink Party
C and I went to a Pink & Green party in honor of welcoming spring! We both wore pink because that's what we found in our closets. Fun fun! TGIF! Have a wonderful weekend homies!
Jo: F21 top, American eagle boyfit jeans, h&m wedges.
Visiting Grandparents
We rented a bug!
I've always liked this wallpaper in the bathroom.
Little me with 'The Little Engine That Could.'
Scott, me and Grandpa
A few weeks ago my mom and I took a trip to Connecticut to visit my grandparents. It was a short and sweet trip. I love going to their house because it never changes(and it's straight out of the 70's). I have lots of good memories there.
I was wearing Danskin leggings from childhood, H&M cape, and Bakers OTK boots.

Happy Hour
The other day I went to get a mani and pedi since it's the first day warm enough to bust out the open-toe shoes. We went to our fav Mexican spot for Margaritas and chips and salsa during happy hour. Hope everyone is having a great week. Charles hates all the buzz about the royal wedding. I don't really care about the wedding either but I want to see Kate's dress and I jump at the chance to act British anytime. Tea anyone?
Jo: Target maxi dress and cardigan, Zara bag, vintage belt.
C: hmm..not sure. I'll ask him and get back to you. lol

Fedoras and Glasses
Today we went to The West End restaurant in the city. It is actually called Havana Central now, but The West End is it's original name. It is a special place because it's where my parents met 40 years ago this month! I loved seeing where they met and the neighborhood they lived in.
I can hardly walk because of a killer workout a few days ago, but it was still a great day.
I added the pic of Tom's Restaurant...it's the one from Sienfield! It was across the street from where we were.
My brother and Charles had on some really cool glasses. My dad and I opted for fedoras to go with the Cuban theme.
Me: Aritzia(my new favorite store) hat, old H&M bomber jacket, old F21 jeans, target leopard flats.

Bag Envy
I've been having bag-envy lately. Check out these blue bags I have my eyes on...

I'm having an outfit vision...these blue bags can be paired with my black and white tribal print dress or jeans, a white t-shirt and some big sunglasses.
As most of you know, there are two types of women...shoe women and bag women. Guess which one I am?! hahaha. Yes, of course you can favor both equally or none at all. Just think about it though, which one are you?

Bag 2&3: Urban Outfitters
